Daily living can present numerous challenges and unforeseen turmoil just like a sea can be calm and pleasant, but also have waves and storms. As a Registered Social Worker, with a Master's in Clinical Counselling, I am able to assist individuals, couples or families trying to navigate through these life challenges, impairing them from accomplishing their goals or finding strength to manage life situations. Applying a strengths based approach and with the use of Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I am dedicated to help clients reach mental well-being for living a happy and peaceful life.

This is another strength based approach using techniques such as goal setting, scaling questions and the miracle question to help the person realize what is desired.

Individuals are asked to except their emotions as a reaction to the circumstances they are faced with and focus on committing to make changes in behaviour.

There are numerous approaches to therapy and different ones work for different people. These are the approaches I feel work best with the clients I have seen in the past. Since the most important factor about benefit to counselling is the relationship with the counsellor, I strive to make sure you are comfortable and feel welcomed at all times.
