BIOGRAPHY:

Williams P. C. Nwadiugwu received the B.Sc. in Computer Science & Applications (2013) and the M.Sc.-(IT) in Information Technology Engineering (2015), both with meritorious first class honors from the Bangalore university and Jain university in India respectively. He proceeded to receive the PhD (also with first class honors) in Electronics & IT Convergence Engineering from the Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT), South Korea in 2020. Prior to his academic sojourn to India and South Korea, Dr. Nwadi. was a recipient of both the Ordinary (OND) and the Higher (HND) National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, Nigeria in 2005 and 2008 respectively. On completing his PhD studies, he worked as a Senior Research Scientist and Assistant Professor - Teaching (Adjunct capacity) with the ICT Convergence Research Center (ICT-CRC) and the School of Electronics Engineering of KIT from Sept-2020 to Aug-2022. Dr. Nwadi. now works in the Department of Electrical, Computing & Biomedical Engineering, and the Department of Computer Science of the Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) as a Research & Teaching (Guest) Faculty. He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed SCI/SCIE/SCOPUS graded Scientific/Engineering journals and conferences till-date, and has mentored numerous prospective Masters/PhD candidates. Dr. Nwadi. was one of the fewest recipients of the India-Nigeria Global Education scholarship grant of 2010, and a recipient of the Brain Korea (MSIT/NRF) Doctoral scholarship grant of 2016-2020. He was nominated, celebrated and featured in the USA-based “Who’s-Who-in-Nigerian-Diaspora” magazine publication of 2020 for his exemplary Engineering and Scientific accomplishments. He is a registered member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Board till date. He was appointed Session-Chair for the ICTC-2020, ICAIIC-2021 & ICTC-2021 international conferences. He currently serves as Journal Reviewer for reputed IEEE Transaction journals, IEEE Technical/Access journals, Ain Shams Engineering Journal (ASEJ) and the Mathematical Problems in Engineering MDPI Journal bodies.

His major interests are, but not limited to solving real-time and reliability constraints for: (1) Industrial IoT/smart systems, (2) mobility/localization sensors for robots, (3) Ultrawideband (UWB) RF-embedded frameworks, (4) wireless cellular (LTE/5G/6G) communications, (5) deep learning techniques for industrial systems, and (6) Avionic (Aircraft, MAVs/UAVs) control systems.
