To start a blog or website you need to have suitable tools. For this purpose, there are three well-known platforms: WordPress.org, WordPress.com, and Blogger.

I will conclude and give you an advice on what platform, WordPress.org, WordPress.com or Blogger to create your first website.

Clearly Distinguish WordPress (.com & .org) Versus Blogger

There are articles about the limits of WordPress such as:

• WordPress is free but has some limits.
• WordPress cannot be installed external interface and gadget.
• WordPress does not allow to add ads or tracking code.
• Data from WordPress is not yours & you are dependent.

The people who write these articles, please, distinguish WordPress.com & WordPress.org. These two platforms are completely different, do not think the .com domain is the main site and .org is the secondary site.

WordPress.com is strictly limited as above, while WordPress.org is open source and you can customize as many as you want.

• WordPress.org is an open source that allows you to independently build website, self-operating hosting server, customize all configuration and content to attract traffic or make money from your website.

• WordPress.com is the platform for you to build a free website based on WordPress.com's server. You do not need to spend your hosting costs but be limited to a few things.

• Blogger (formerly known as Blogspot) is also a platform for users to create websites or blogs for free. Blogger was acquired by Google in 2003.
