Hello! I am currently an adjunct instructor for The Catholic University of America and a research assistant for American University's Institute for Macroeconomic & Policy Analysis. I completed my PhD at American University in August 2025.
After previously working for a biotechnology startup in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am interested in researching how new innovations actually impact the economy and affect productivity growth. My dissertation focused on decomposing innovation and productivity trends through Stochastic Frontier Analysis, including my job market paper on research productivity. I have also worked on research covering a range of topics from fiscal and tax policy to varieties of capitalism and happiness.
I am currently teaching at The Catholic University of America and previously taught at American University. This includes a range of courses from principles classes, a senior captsone on economic policy writing, to Master's-level. During my time teaching at AU, I was awarded the James Weaver Teaching Prize by the Economics Department for the 2022-2023 academic year.
