Destruction in Gaza

Over the past couple of months, I've shared working papers on the Israel–Hamas war. While those papers discuss the widespread devastation in Gaza in general terms, they do not directly visualize the destruction.

To complement that work, I used publicly available satellite-based data on detected destroyed structures in the Gaza Strip to create a short animation highlighting the spatial and temporal evolution of the damage.
