Here at my week-long work experience, I was a key member of the library team ensuring many different jobs were achieved to the best of my ability. Here I used my organization skills to sort and stack all used and returned books into the correct shelves in term of genera and alphabetical order. As well I used my computer skills with databases and the internet to search, sort and help customers to find exactly what they are looking for. By dealing with enquiries and my skills in customer service I tried to provide a pleasant and easy experience for all involved.

At the start of 2020, I was asked to do some work experience and because I didn’t find any outside of the College, yet I was asked by one of my Lecturers on the Level 2 IT course (City & Guilds) to do some work experience at the college which I took up on. My roles during the single week of work experience was helping out with the IT technicians; I helped fix a staff member’s printing issue, fix the bulb in a projector which needed replacing and fixing an issue with a computer which received no power and could not connect to the printer.
