William Seifert is a cinematographer and filmmaker, who loves working on set. William has always been a visual learner and views the world in a unique way; which is what inspired him to take up cinematography. William has acquired skills in numerous fields of production, from the camera and lighting department, to screenwriting and PA work.

William Seifert is a 2024 graduate from Arizona State University's Sidney Poitier New American Film School, where he graduated (summa cum laude) with a BFA degree in Film and Media Production, with an emphasis in Cinematography.
During that time, William
-was hired as a videographer for Arizona State University's Student Creative Services, where he created numerous videos, including:
an informative fire safety video for employees at Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, and The University of Arizona.
starred in and edited numerous "Green Games" recycling videos, shown at Arizona State's Mountain America Stadium.
worked with and edited several videos and presentations for graduate students.
-participated in the Semester in LA program (SiLA), where he:
worked as an Office and Events Assistant for Arizona State University at their California Center.
worked as a Research and Production Intern for a nonprofit organization (Action Through Action).
-joined and collaborated with a student film club, called MGE (Maroon and Gold Entertainment).
-worked in over a dozen independent films and student productions. Positions include:
Director of Photography, Editor, Screenwriter, Camera Assistant, Grip, Production Assistant, BTS Photographer, and Actor.
William Seifert is also a 2020 graduate from Saratoga High School, where he graduated with honors.
During that time, he
-was a Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Representative (HOBY).
-participated in the Media Arts Program (MAP) for all 4 years.
was nominated and won several local awards during the high school's film awards (SMASH'N).
-was a finalist in the "Breathe California Clear the Air Film Festival".
-worked for a local Television Station (KSAR 15).
-was a Football Defensive Lineman, Captain, and Special Teams player.
voted "Most Inspirational Player" by his peers.
-was a Track and Field Thrower and Captain.
-was a Marching and Jazz Band player, specializing in the trumpet.
