District 65 will host several community meetings to help families, staff, and residents better understand our financial outlook and the path forward. These sessions are intended to provide opportunities to build a shared understanding as we consider decisions that will shape District 65 for generations to come.

Young, Black & Lit is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located here in Evanston that is committed to increasing access to children’s books that center, reflect, and affirm Black children by providing free books to youth in pre-K through 8th grade. Each year, YBL provides free books to 400 D65 students through their Lit Year Program. Learn more here!
The Evanston School Children's Clothing Association provides new and gently used winter clothing, shoes, and boots at no cost to D65 students in need. ESCCA relies on volunteers each year to help families "shop" at the ESCCA store at JEH. Learn more here.
