I am wheel. I graduated music school many moons ago with an emphasis in instrumental music (percussion primary, piano secondary, vocal tertiary), but have more recently been creating music and sounds for indie games, mobile games, streamers and content creators, animators, and stuff like that, which is what you'll see here

Update nov 2024 - I am selectively open atm, meaning I may have some room to work on a project or a couple one-off contributions if I like the project or we're mutuals or something

Commission info

• Please only contact me if you are far along enough in your project to have a good idea of what you're looking for, and are not looking for a free/cheap option

• Listen to the stuff above to get an idea of what my music sounds like. I don't mind doing something slightly outside my typical wheelhouse, but please do not commission me if you are looking to get something completely different than the stuff I make (i.e. probably don't come to me looking for breakbeat stuff or something. if you're not sure, ask)

• Just about everything I do is synthesized - meaning unless otherwise discussed, everything will be instrumental with no vocals or live recording

• For flat-rate agreements I round down invoices to the nearest half minute. I won't invoice for when things go slightly over time just to complete a phrase, or do a fade out, etc

Process

• along with a detailed description of what you want (as many adjectives as you can think of) and a target length, a couple of reference tracks will really help me understand what you're looking for. In other words, if you weren't commissioning music, what are some existing tracks you might use instead

  • If the work is being scored to a visual medium, it also helps a ton if I can see it first (in-motion preferred, but concept art is better than nothing)

• I will send a sketch of one section of a track for approval before continuing on to finish it

• Two  revisions will be allowed per track. Any further revisions will be invoiced depending on the extent of the work

• I complete most tracks within 2 - 4 weeks. If for whatever reason I expect it will take it longer, I will let you know

Prices

• let's talk about it, but original compositions start at $350 USD/minute of completed track*

• *open to revenue share in place of/for discounted  a case-by-case basis

Payment

• 50% of total amount due after the initial sketch is sent

• Remainder due upon completion
