RESEARCH

I am a DPhil candidate at the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford. Previously, I graduated with distinction from an MPhil in Comparative Government at the same University. My principal research agenda is on Comparative Politics. I am particularly interested in Political Parties and Institutional Development after Conflict Termination, Political Violence, Electoral behaviour and Human Rights. My work combines theory development and rich empirics with evidence from structured and unstructured data, as well as thorough analysis of in-depth fieldwork interviews, archive material, and surveys.

At Oxford, I have taught and supervised graduate and undergraduate students at various colleges in Comparative Government, Latin American Politics, Comparative Political Economy, Political Sociology, and Introduction to the Practice of Politics (‘Prelims’). I have also previously worked for Nuffield College and the Centre for Experimental Social Sciences (CESS) as a Research Assistant on different Projects, and for the DPIR as a Lecturer for the seminar on Qualitative Content Analysis using NVivo (Qualitative Methods).
