Wildlife Research Laboratoy

Wildlife Research Laboratory is a multidisciplinary research and training facility dedicated to wildlife biology, ecology and conservation. The laboratory undertakes field-based research on wildlife biodiversity, population ecology, behaviour, feeding ecology, human–wildlife interactions, habitat and landscape ecology, GIS and geospatial analysis, community-based conservation, wildlife health and One Health. It promotes the application of modern scientific and technological approaches, including camera trapping, ecological modelling, GIS, remote sensing and quantitative data analysis, to address contemporary wildlife-conservation challenges. The laboratory also serves as a platform for training students, research scholars and conservation practitioners and for developing collaborative research programmes focused particularly on the Aravalli landscape and semi-arid ecosystems of western India.
