Wildlife Kids of SWFL is an afterschool, hands-on nature and wildlife education program for children in grades K-5 based in Englewood, Florida. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of wildlife advocates who love and protect the natural world around them.
Students explore local parks, trails, and outdoor spaces in Southwest Florida as we discover the amazing wildlife and habitats around us. Through hands-on outdoor adventures, students build curiosity, confidence and a deeper connection to nature.
Each week, students learn about different animals from around the world through interactive STEAM-based activities, games, crafts, experiments and guided exploration. Our lessons encourage creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of science and wildlife.
We teach students how to become thoughtful stewards of the environment by learning simple, meaningful ways to protect wildlife and their habitats. By inspiring compassion and responsibility, we empower the next generation to help care for the natural world around them.
