The Wilderness Friends Meeting follows the traditional Quaker devotion to service for the needy as a central expression of our faith, rooted in the belief that there is “that of God in everyone.” This conviction inspires us to respond to suffering and injustice wherever we find it, offering help without discrimination and with deep respect for the dignity and beliefs of those we serve. Service is not simply an act of charity but a living testimony—an outward sign of inward spiritual commitment.
We support many organizations, both local, national and international in scope. All our donated funds go to support these organizations. We have no facilities or organizational overhead so all donations go directly to worthy groups that reflect the Quaker testimonies of Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship.
Your donation of any amount will be deeply appreciated. You can mail checks to Wilderness Friends Meeting, 135 Spring Lake Rd, Cuttingsville, VT 05738.
“I slept, and dreamed that life was joy;
I woke, and found that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy.”
- Ellen Sturgis Hooper The Dial (July 1840)
