The Process
Here is all the information.
1. Your wedding flowers need to be dropped off the day after your event or the latest 2 days after. The fresher your flowers the better they will press.
2. Once you have filled out the booking form you must also pay a deposit to secure your booking.
3. I will notify you by DM regarding drop-off of flowers usually 3 weeks before the event.
4. Once your flowers are dropped off, I will start the pressing process which will take
approximately 8-10 months, sometimes even longer depending on the flowers.
5. When the flowers are ready to be worked with, I will make contact with you. I will then create a piece based on your chosen design and send you multiple pictures.
6. Once you are happy with the design, I will work on the frame by gluing everything into place, I prefer to let the design sit within the frame for approximately 3 weeks. Your frame will then be gift wrapped and I will message you regarding pickup.
Final payment must be paid before pickup.

Additional Information
1. Please be gentle with your Bouquet. I know there is so much to think about on the day, but just remember every single blemish and bruise will end up a brown spot on the flower.
2. The more colors, variety and different foliage that are in your Bouquet, the more textured and colorful your frame will be. Although most flowers retain their colors after pressing, whites and cream will press a natural color.
3. I always encourage my Brides to bring extra flowers from your other arrangements to be used in your frame. This allows me to pick the best flowers to press, and it also allows me to include some variety if you like into your design especially if you have a single type mono Bouquet.
4. Most Protea and Australian Native flowers need more attention because of their large size. Each flower needs to be deconstructed and reconstructed and this process takes time. So, if your Bouquet is exclusively made of or contains a large amount of Protea's and Native's please be aware there will be an extra charge.
5. Lastly remember that all pressed flower works contain organic materials, and the natural pigment in the flowers and foliage may fade over time. This is part of the process and one of the things I love about them. In order to prolong the life of your pressed flower artworks, I recommend keeping them out of direct sunlight.
