Henryk Szołtysek, Ph.D
Henryk was born in 1953 in Mikołów. He holds a master’s degree in pharmacy and a doctorate in toxicology. His professional career included management of Forensic Toxicology Unit in the Silesian Medical University, and many years of contribution in the pharmaceutical industry.
Over the years he held sales and marketing positions with companies like Ciba and Novartis Pharma Corporation. He is presently a consultant in the area of healthcare policy.
His interests include history of the region of Upper Silesia in Poland and genealogy.
He currently lives with his wife in Mikołow, Poland
Jan Szołtysek, P.Eng., MBA
Jan graduated with a master's degree in controls engineering from the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, and an MBA from the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers in Ontario, Canada. Jan works as a controls engineer in the machine building industry.
His areas of interest include science, history and Christian apologetics. He is on the board of directors of the Toronto chapter of Reasons to Believe (reasons.org), a Ministry dedicated to proclaiming the Christian gospel through the exploration of the harmony in nature and the Scripture.
Jan was born in 1957 in Mikołów, Poland, and for several years lived with his grandparents in Gostyń Śląska at the house where his father had been brought up. Later, the family settled in Mikołów, after which they moved to Ruda Śląska and to Katowice.
He has lived in Canada since 1987 with his wife and three sons.
