Ulun petanu waterfall
Bali is one of the must-visit destinations for tourists for its beautiful natural attractions. Not only known for its beautiful beaches, waterfalls spread across various regions of the island of Bali are also one of the enchanting natural wonders. One of them is Ulu Petanu Waterfall. Hidden in the Gianyar area, it offers a stunning experience for travelers who want peace and authentic natural wonders. Here is information about the beauty including the location, entrance ticket price, and the appeal of this waterfall.
Rice terrace
Tegalalang Rice Terrace comprises a series of cascading rice fields. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the area is especially popular during sunrise and sunset. Take your time to explore the terraces, visit the nearby Bali Pulina plantation, and have a go on the mountain-edge swings. To see the fields at their greenest, visit in March, August or September. They're also green in December and February but are slippery due to the rainy season. The rice terrace is commonly visited on a tour of Ubud which includes other places of interest like the Monkey Forest, Tegenugan Waterfall, and Tirta Empul Temple.
Tirta empul tample
The name “Tirta Empul” translates to “holy water spring,” perfectly reflecting the temple’s essence and cultural significance. The holy spring continuously provides crystal-clear water to the temple’s intricately designed purification pools and fountains. This water is believed to hold potent healing properties, making it central to purification rituals like the Melukat Ceremony, where participants immerse themselves in a spiritual journey to cleanse their body, mind, and soul.
Coffee plantation
Nestled in the lush, tropical landscape of Bali, Ubud has long been known as a haven for artists, yogis, and coffee lovers alike. When I first visited this enchanting town, I was captivated not only by its vibrant culture and stunning scenery, but also by the fragrant aroma of fresh coffee wafting through the air. Little did know that Ubud is home to some of the most beautiful coffee plantations that offer breathtaking views and a truly immersive experience.
