Ordnance Survey Archers is thrilled to announce it is launching its first ever summer challenge!
The Imperial Challenge has been specifically designed for archers at ALL levels to shoot rounds they may not normally attempt and a medal will be awarded to ALL archers who complete the challenge.
Please note this is a personal challenge, not a competition, hence we will not be publishing scores.

The Morecambe Bay Masters
(the postal competition for archers aged 65 and over)
The Morecambe Bay Masters (the postal competition for archers aged 65 and over) returns for another year.
Running for the three summer months this postal competition is completely free to enter and open to all bow styles. Last summer we had over one hundred and seventy archers competing in ten categories.
Please see the attached format and entry form below.
You can also find the competition on Facebook.
We'd like to invite you to join us for the 70th Merdon Arrow Tournament at Merdon Bowmen's new club ground on Monday 25th May.
We have a new restriction as we now share a field with a cricket club, strictly no full carbon or plastic arrows are allowed on the field. The field captain will be doing checks on the day anyone found using these arrows will be disqualified and no refund given.
We are now in our lovely new field The Holt, Salt Lane just outside Upham. Please use what3 words: picked.limelight.pillow for exact location not the postcode as it will take you to a house not the field.
As we no longer have a pub next door a BBQ is included in the entry fee, non-participants can enjoy the BBQ for £5. Please let me know of any dietary requirements. We will have the usual raffle and light refreshments will be available, cash only please.
Full information is on the attached flyer(below)
Places fill up fast for the Merdon Arrow so places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. I can't reserve places unless an entry form is submitted and fees paid.
If you were lucky enough to win a trophy last year, could you please return it before or on the day of the event.
We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you on 25th May.
The 2026 SCAS Clout, hosted by BAA, on Sunday 7th June is fast approaching with less than 5 weeks left to enter and just 6 weeks left until the big day itself!
As well as being an enjoyable shoot with individual awards on the day, there is a county team element based on a team of 4 county archers with standardised scores so any bowstyle goes. (Team members must be shooting the correct round for their age/ gender ... and as per entry form 50+ rounds are not included)
