ABOUT YOUR CHEF - Vanessa Rousseau Richardson

Vanessa is from Cape Town South Africa where she was raised in the catering industry, as her mother was a very sucessful caterer and brilliant cook. From a young age Vanessa has enjoyed preparing lovely dishes and exploring cuisine of all kinds. Newly wed to her British hubby, Vanessa arrived in the UK in 1998. In 2000 to 2001 she worked on a High Speed train to London as a chef and in 2002 attained her Professional Catering Qualifications at Clarendon College (Nottingham). She then worked in award winning restaurants and later started her own events & catering career in Cornwall.

Over 11 years in Cornwall, Vanessa has used her talent and flair for global food styles and tastes in creating fabulous dishes at events, shows, food festivals and in her own restaurant and for private parties as a private chef.

She currently works in and around Hampshire / Dorset / Isle of Wight and further affield, offering her professional catering skills and creating Wedding Cake and Dessert Tower masterpieces.

Classical GUITARIST - Peter Richardson

With over 35yrs of experience of playing the Classical Guitar he lays claim to an Extensive and Varied Repertoire to suit all tastes and ages. Peter has been performing and studying the Guitar for many years, leading to creating a CD of beautiful music arranged for the Classical Guitar (Called - The Enchanting Guitar) and has performed at Music Festivals in South Africa and more recently in Dorset and Isle of Wight. He has also performed Concerts and Cabaret events over the years. He has created a refreshing atmosphere for numerous weddings and celebrations set in the heart of the Winelands of South Africa through to the formal occasions at the stately homes in the English Countryside and premium venues in the Midlands, Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset, Sussex & Surrounds & now the Isle of Wight where he lives.

Peter performs a selection of nostalgic music on the classical guitar for your Special Occasion, including weddings, functions and corporate events. Incorporating favourites from the Classical repertoire, Spanish music, Latin Music, Bossa Nova, Golden Oldies, Sixties music, The Beatles music, Vintage music from the Fifties, Seventies music, Eighties music, Nineties music, Music from the two thousands, Jazz standards and many Popular love songs of today.
