Mission Statement: 

Wiggles N' Wonders Playschool seeks to provide a safe, loving, and educational setting in which children can grow and develop. We provide a high quality, developmentally appropriate childcare setting for children of all abilities and ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our primary emphasis is to enable children to build essential skills, overcome challenges, and achieve ambitions. 

Playschool: 

Wiggles N' Wonders Playschool implements a play based curriculum and focuses on Kindergarten readiness. We have fun and we learn! Play is essential for children's development, building their confidence as the learn to explore, to think about problems, and relate to others. When children play and engage in activities it helps develop social skills, develop self regulation skills, nurtures creativity and curiosity, lets children make choices, and teaches children to take care of themselves and others.  In our playschool we boost pre-literacy skills, build a foundation for math, promote language and cognitive skills, develop motor skills, and provide structure with limited rules. Playschool encompasses all kinds of learning opportunities for children. Our high quality education program offers children both protected play time and skills development that prepare them for a life long love of learning.

Philosophy

The philosophy of The Creative Curriculum® is that young children learn best by doing. The Creative Curriculum® is built on theories of development in young children, that all children learn through active exploration of their environment and therefore the environment plays a critical role in learning.

Our Teaching Philosophy

We believe children should have fun! After all, even the experts agree that preschool age children learn most through play. These carefree years are so short, and soon the children will be exposed to a much more structured form of learning. During the month, many activities take place which help promote basic skills such as: letter & number recognition, color & shape recognition, large motor skills, small motor skills, and so many more.

Our Staff 

Our staff is devoted to providing the best quality care possible. We are state qualified and licensed. All teachers are up to date on all required trainings and certifications for childcare.  We have achieved Associates, Bachelor, and Masters Degrees in Early Childhood Education.  We are consistently seeking higher professional development and raising educational standards.
