If you want a safe, breathable listening experience for side sleeping and staying aware of your surroundings while driving or working out, choose Wigfar Open Ear Headphones; if you need immersive sound with active noise cancellation and a playful plush accessory that doubles as a keychain, choose MOROZKISPA Cartoon Cat Earbuds.
• Wigfar Open Ear Headphones: Strength lies in its open-ear design that keeps your ears unblocked for safety and comfort during side sleeping; the trade-off is zero isolation from background noise, which may frustrate those seeking total quiet. This pick is for commuters, runners, and side sleepers who need to hear their environment.
• MOROZKISPA Cartoon Cat Earbuds: Strength is found in its Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and deep immersion in HD sound, paired with a unique plush cat toy; the trade-off is an in-ear fit that can become uncomfortable for some heavy side sleepers over long periods. This pick is for gamers, travelers, and style-conscious users who prioritize audio isolation.
The Wigfar Open Ear Headphones are engineered around a philosophy of awareness. Their defining feature is the "open ear" design, which sits outside the ear canal rather than plugging it. This creates a breathable fit that allows air to circulate freely, preventing the sweaty, trapped feeling common with traditional in-ear buds. For anyone who has ever struggled to fall asleep on their side because a bulky headphone was digging into their cheek, this U-shaped curved arm design offers a genuine solution. The lightweight construction and silicone case suggest a device built for all-day wear without causing pressure points on the pinna or the jawline.
These headphones utilize Bluetooth 5.3 technology, ensuring a stable connection up to 10 meters with fast transfer speeds. The IPX4 waterproof rating means they can handle sweat during intense workouts or light rain without issue. The sound profile is designed to be balanced across high and low frequencies using dual unit composite diaphragms, but the open architecture ensures that the sound does not leak significantly while allowing ambient sounds to pass through naturally.

Who should buy these? If you are looking for over ear headphones for side sleepers that don't cause pain when you turn onto your pillow, this is the logical choice. They are also ideal for crystal clear calls head phones for side sleepers who need to answer a phone call or listen to navigation instructions without removing their device. The design explicitly prevents interference with glasses and hats, making them versatile for daily commutes. However, if you work in a noisy coffee shop or commute on a busy train where you need to block out the chaos to focus, you might find the open design too exposing. You get freedom and safety, but you sacrifice silence.
In stark contrast, the MOROZKISPA Cartoon Cat Earbuds are designed for immersion. These are true in-ear buds that sit inside the ear canal, paired with a feature set that prioritizes audio isolation and personality. The standout element here is the inclusion of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). This technology actively works to block out external background noise, creating a private bubble of sound. Whether you are trying to focus on a task, study in a loud dorm, or enjoy music on a plane, this ANC capability provides a level of clarity that the open-ear Wigfar simply cannot match.
The aesthetic appeal is undeniable, featuring a pink color scheme and a massive, plush cartoon cat toy included in the box. This toy measures 7.5 by 7.5 inches and serves as a backpack keychain, adding a whimsical, tactile element to the tech package. The earbuds themselves support Bluetooth 5.1 for reliable pairing and feature smart touch controls for easy management of calls and music. With a battery life averaging 28 hours, they match the longevity of the Wigfar, though the charging time listed is notably longer at 28 hours, which suggests a slower initial charge cycle compared to the rapid turnaround of the competitor. The IPX4 waterproofing ensures durability against sweat and moisture, making them suitable for gym sessions.
Who fits this profile? These are perfect for comfortable gaming headset for side sleepers who prefer a snug fit and do not mind the slight pressure of an in-ear bud, provided the ear canal size is compatible. They are also the go-to choice for users who want a fun accessory that stands out. The ergonomic design promises a snug fit for extended wear, but the in-ear nature means that for some side sleepers, the bulk of the earbud pressing against the mattress could become irritating after a few hours. If your priority is shutting out the world to focus on the content, or if you love the idea of a plush cat companion, these earbuds deliver exactly that.

• Best for battery endurance → Tie: Both models offer approximately 28 hours of total playtime, so neither holds a distinct advantage in raw duration.
• Best for sports safety → Wigfar Open Ear Headphones: Hearing your environment while running or cycling is safer with the open-ear design than with sealed, noise-canceling buds.
I would personally choose the Wigfar Open Ear Headphones if my primary goal was finding a comfortable pair of over ear headphones for side sleepers. While the MOROZKISPA option is undeniably cute and offers great noise cancellation, the physical reality of sleeping on your side makes the in-ear form factor risky for comfort and ear health over long durations. The Wigfar's open design solves the "cheek pain" problem perfectly while still delivering solid sound quality and excellent battery life. I recommend the Wigfar for anyone who values safety, comfort, and the ability to stay connected to their environment, whereas I'd reserve the MOROZKISPA for stationary listening or short bursts where the plush cat toy is the main draw.
Yes, the Wigfar Open Ear Headphones are specifically designed with a clip-on shape that avoids putting pressure on the ear canal, making them much more suitable for side sleepers than the in-ear MOROZKISPA model.
Yes, the MOROZKISPA Cartoon Cat Earbuds feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which helps block out background noise, whereas the Wigfar model has no noise control features due to its open-ear design.
Both products offer similar total battery life, with the Wigfar lasting approximately 27.99 hours and the MOROZKISPA lasting about 28 hours, so the difference is negligible.
The Wigfar Open Ear Headphones are better suited for driving calls because the open design allows you to hear traffic while maintaining clear audio transmission for the person on the other end.
