Wifi password show app is a handy tool to view saved wifi passwords in Android phone.

This app works only on rooted phones.

The wifi passwords on Android are stored in a configuration file,the file path is /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf.

In Android Oreo the file path is /data/misc/wifi//WifiConfigStore.xml.

This file is usually own by a system user like wifi or root. So you have to be root if you want to read wifi password directly.
