Required by Android and iOS to access WiFi SSID and BSSID information.
Used only to scan nearby WiFi networks
We do not track, store, or share your physical location
Camera Permission
Used only for features like:
AR Visual Mode
Spy Detector (hidden camera detection)
No photos or videos are recorded, saved, or sent outside your device.
Bluetooth Permission
Used to scan nearby Bluetooth devices for the Spy Detector feature.
No Bluetooth data is stored or shared.
Local Network Permission
Used to scan devices connected to your current WiFi network (LAN Scan).
All scanning happens locally on your phone.
WIFI Test Pro may use limited third-party services to improve functionality:
Speed Testing
We connect to public speed test servers (such as M-Lab or Tele2) to measure download and upload speeds.
Your IP address may be visible to these servers during the test
We do not store speed test results on our servers
Analytics
We may use anonymous analytics tools (such as Firebase Analytics) to understand app usage and improve performance.
No personal or identifiable information is collected
Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no risk of your personal usage data being leaked from our side. All actions remain on your device.
You can control your privacy at any time by:
Revoking app permissions (Location, Camera, Bluetooth, Local Network) from your device settings
Stopping use of the app
The app will continue to respect your choices.
WIFI Test Pro does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.
