Are you planning to appear for NEET 2025? Before you begin your preparation journey, it's important to understand if you meet the eligibility criteria set by NTA. Here's everything you need to know:

1. Educational Qualification:

To appear in NEET 2025, students must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with the following subjects:

Physics

Chemistry

Biology/Biotechnology

English

These subjects must be taken from a recognized board. Students currently appearing for Class 12 exams can also apply, but they must pass the qualifying exam before admission.

2. Minimum Percentage Required:

General category – 50% marks in PCB

SC/ST/OBC – 40% marks in PCB

PWD candidates – 45% marks in PCB

3. Age Criteria:

The minimum age to appear for NEET is 17 years as on December 31, 2025.

There is no upper age limit to apply for the NEET exam.

4. Nationality:

The following candidates are eligible to apply:

Indian citizens

Non-resident Indians (NRIs)

Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs)

Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)

Foreign nationals
