WiFi Finder is an application that is made to find a new wifi connection with which you can connect and use the internet without any issue. Most of the time these public WIFI connections take time to connect due to IP allotment, but with this app, it will itself try to connect with manual IP and this will hence make sure that you are connected to the best network available and that too without much of the wastage of time. Also, this app will not move to any other network connection by itself, and will only move when the internet connectivity is not working as said.

I have a chinese allwinner a13 tablet. The firmware it had was really slow and couldn't use Google Apps so I decided to install a custom rom for it. I tried several roms, but only some were close to 100% working. Some had no working wifi, and the ones that did have a working wifi had other problems.

I am not good with android. I found a wifi fixer for allwinner a13 tablets, but for Cyanogenmod, and I replaced the files in the installed firmware with the ones from the fixer. Now when I try to open the tablet, it is stuck in the Android screen from the beginning of booting.

A couple of weeks ago, I found my Z3 Compact (d5833) unable to turn on wifi and bluetooth, making the phone almost useless. It was under Android 5.1.1, but I can't say for sure if the OTA update had happened overnight or not.

So the miracle happened. This is not a hardware issue. Sony should be ashamed of putting so little effort in fixing their mistake. An obviously untested system update made the most important feature (wifi) crash, and their only answer was pay for a new motherboard. I'm not even sure that it would fix the phone.

My phone had a lollipop update in the background, which trashed wifi, bluetooth and obviously hotshot services. I finally found an older version of pc companion that would work on xp, and followed the full repair process but the wifi dear is still present open sonys Android operating system EVEN in 2016...

3) install connectbot and busybox to the android devices, as it will give you more usable info, (the ifconfig actually works like a linux ifconfig should be expected, among other busybox-packed programs)

iPhones connect OK, and all other devices connect fine, WiFi Radio (Co-workers Sirius Satellite Radio over WiFi in our dungeon) Laptops of all brands and models. All of the devices except these androids connect and operate just fine, oh and Winmobile 5 and 6 phones worked fine on WiFi too. The Androids connect/disconnect/reconnect fine they just don't get Internet.

Are you certain there's no RADIUS server (certificates/authentication) active on your network? If not, that's a pretty big security risk for your normal operations but eases the wifi riddle. If there's some authentication going on, make sure the ANDROID devices get the proper certificates installed.

I am not sure why you were suggesting easywifi, but that aside, I can assure you that there is no Radius server on our network, as far as the security implications of not having Radius authentication for wifi we are OK with that. And unfortunately I wish it was something like a rouge DHCP server being enabled on one of the APs or another device on the network but there isn't one. I do apreciate the thoughtful response though.

Haven't been able to get my co-worker to try these things he is busy with his own work (solving a problem this way is frustrating when I don't have direct access to the tech) But we had three demo phones in here last friday, an HTC incredible, a droid 2, and a Samsung Fascinate. I tried wifi on all three of them. The Droid got to the Internet fine. The Incredible couldn't. And the Samsung worked if I pointed it at our internal proxy server (The incredible didn't have proxy settings). This is driving me crazy the phone should make a difference the traffic isn't any different than normal network traffic.

Anyways if I can find an app to set and unset proxy setting fro a specific wifi or set and unset them with just an app then I think that will be the way to go. It is simple and solves my problem without having to root any phones.

Hey all, sorry I haven't responded sooner, I have not found an app to set and unset proxy settings easily, or manage wifi networks with settings like proxy. Additionally I found only the browser works once the proxy setting is enable the marketplace for instance still does not.

I got this phone about a week ago and was enjoying it at first. However, I am constantly dropping wifi connection or getting "connected without internet." The only way to have a stable connection is to just literally turn my wifi off and use mobile data. I've tried just about every fix that there is ranging from the Phone Mac Address fix, changing to Static IP, turning off RAM plus, etc. If anyone can share some insight, it would be highly appreciated as I really don't want to return this phone.

Just got my galaxy tab s2 and there seems to be a intermittent wifi issue. Occasionally it will show the wifi symbol in the status bar with an exclamation mark (!) Beside it. When I got into the wifi settings it says 'internet may not be available'. After a few minutes it will re-connect to the wifi. This happens on both 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz frequency.

I've tried downloading a wifi fixer, I've reset network settings, and turned off nearby device scanning. I've also tried doing what a forum suggested by changing the ip settings from dhcp to static but it wouldn't connect to wifi at all. Not sure what else to try other than taking it back.

As far as I know the software is up to date. Not sure another other wifi but happens on mine, both 2.4 & 5 Ghz. Still happening in the replacement tablet I got since first post. I'm thinking it is down to the android version

I have a similar wifi issue after updating my Tab S2 2016 from Marshmallow to Nougat. Same for my S8 updated from Nougat to Oreo. Before that, I was using Singtel Arcayan router. I tested with other brand of router Asus and Linksys, which solved the wifi exclamation mark problem.

Begin by powering off your Android device and unplugging your router. Wait for about a minute before plugging in the router and turning on your device. This simple reset can often restore stable connections and fix Android wifi not working.

Hahahaha. So I updated my phone (never doing that again, pretty pointless) and the wifi stopped working. Put this program on the phone, wifi worked like magic. Thanks yall, took me a whole 2 minutes after screwing with this dumb phone for like 2 hours. ff782bc1db
