Ambassador of Distant Stars
Voidborn Human
NB, She/Any

5’7”
She’s so business-as-usual! The Ambassador is overly-serious, or perhaps she derives joy from playing into these expectations for someone in her position. Regardless, as a conscript, she’s typically all business, looking to finish the job before being distracted by niceties such as compassion and mercy—there’s plenty of time for regret later.
Doctorate of Philosophy, attained in the field of Physics, accredited in the application of physical forces against the human body. Minor accreditations in the fields of geophysics and astrophysics.
Plasma-arm, no regular firearm, this weapon harnesses the unmatched power of the sun. Single-use.
Balanced Blade, a particularly large dagger, or perhaps a peculiarly small shortsword. Regardless, it seems to be made just for her, and she proves this well in combat.
Thermic Protection, she wears special garb that thoroughly maintains her temperatures in order to keep her (hopefully) healthy and safe during her exploration. Both heat and frost, regardless of what form it takes, will struggle to get through.
Lone Wolf, she’s adept at performing on her own. She’s crafted a delicate balance between her duties as a conscript and her own personal interest in the physical sciences, and the entwinement of these two prove deadly.
Relatively Unarmed, though experienced with improvised weaponry, she’s overconfident in this regard. She prefers to travel light as it makes field research easier.
Relatively Unarmored, as although she’s well-protected from thermal attacks, anything physical gets through her armor just fine.
Emotional Insulation, her body’s ahead of her mind, as she never gives herself the chance to process what’s happening beyond logical explanations. Logos keeps her brain busy and happy, or so she prefers to believe.
Lone Wolf, she’s a poor teammate, too occupied by her own interest and far too little experience working with others. The renown from her success as a lone wolf has gone to her head. And… it gets lonely.

Born to a nascent voidborn society, the Ambassador and her people have only recently discovered the means to survive in the vacuum of space. This blooming technology inspired her towards a life of science, always curious about how life could ever work on a planet, something made by the whims of nature rather than by humans for humans. However, this interest in biology was eventually replaced with a favoritism for physics, something she had an easier understanding of, and better intuition for.
These voidborn often had to search for new materials beyond the planet on which their original crafts were made. These scavengers are, as one may figure, called Voidfarers. They, in turn, need three distinct sub-teams: one to make preliminary searches and understand the anomalies they find, one to extract whatever precious materials are present, and one to hold the ground to preserve their presence while research is ongoing. They are known as Team Discovery, Team Salvage, and Team Bulwark. She was assigned to this first team—but their ambitions have grown since her younger days.
The Ambassador gained fame within her own ranks for her prowess at navigating ruins. She not only understood how to avoid traps, but how to keep everything intact, too. She was often the first called for jobs that required a delicate touch.
Her importance grew great enough that she was chosen to be the first to meet with alien life, when at last it was discovered, and her name was just how she presented herself.
“Peace; I am the Ambassador of Distant Stars.”

The Ambassador, though standing at only five feet and seven inches, favors herself some imposing garb. She wears her long, dark hair up in a braid, which itself fits snug against the high collar of her buttoned suit. In the midst of all this, her emerald eyes pierce the night.
Her blade is delicate, a simple red-striped hilt with golden accents on the ends and the pommel. The hilt is almost as long as the blade itself, which is thin yet sturdy, and deathly sharp on either end. Her firearm, in turn, is rudimentary, with no interest in looking pretty, if one could see it at all. The bright plasma held in the top compartment obscures the bodged technology made only to unleash it against anything that stands in the Ambassador’s way.
She holds herself high and makes dramatic movements when stretching or squatting, but lets go of this daintiness if her life is in danger. She is hesitant to take a life, but does her best not to, often taking a moment to act in combat but then doing so decisively.
Her speech is somewhat stilted, as she often doesn’t have need for speaking words, as she’s far more acquainted with writing them in her reports. However, if one does get her to talk, she’ll have quite a lot to say—that which she does not realize has built up in her in the time spent not doing so.
