Welcome to the second Spotlight of Wielerkoorts! Cycling Game players often like to read predictions of cycling races by others. @Cycling Predpt is one of the most active "predictors" on Twitter. Because of an unfortunate mistake the account with originally about 1500 followers has to start from scratch. This is the story by Nuno Silva.

Hello I am Nuno Silva

So , in a cycling whatsapp group during lockdown 2020 a guy created a club, Lingrinhas Team ,in the app Cycling Fantasy game , eventually me and my future page collegue Paulo Costa entered in it and start playing, the fantasy game was very cool and the guys who entered the club eventually got to know each ones better and we formed a strong , united team ! We had a lot of unexpected successes during the game and on 2022 season we aimed to finish in the top 10 in all major club classifications witch we did proving we were one of the best clubs there with a total of 56 trophies achieved.

Individualy both me and Paulo also had some great results ( i achieved top 10 e WWT and Pro men classification plus very regular results , Paulo got 2nd in Giro Donne and Won Liege 2021 , Paulo likes to go for some underdog riders sometimes and not going with favourites so his rankings aren't that good, not because lack of knowledge but way of playing)

So both me and Paulo always liked to search about riders, about races etc... and we had some sucess plus we also used twitter, we knew other predictors like MaschBasch and Michael Thomas and we really liked their work (they are both fantastic predictors)

With that during the Tour we had the idea of also trying our luck in the cycling predictions area , that is when the cyclingpredictorspt page (now @cyclingpredpt) was born , our idea was not only to do predictions but also Analysis, surveys, thoughts, opinions etc.... And so we did it and we actually had a good amount of succes achieving almost 1500 followers in a relatively short time, with actually even some few riders and people connected to the sport following us. Unfortunaly last week i thought about putting the real date of birth of the page to when it was created , 8 July 2022. I did that and twitter considered it an underaged person, blocking it and making us loosing all the work we had before.... We tried to contact twittersupport but no response.

After a week we relaunched the page and we will keep doing what we where doing, hoping to this time doing it even better!

Our team is composed with me Nuno Silva and Paulo Costa as the co-owners of the page

And we also have some helps for road predictions Fabio Lopes (Ekzeon) and Eduardo Condesso (EduPCM).

For CX races we count also with Rogério Almeida (C3N7R4L) and Nuno Gomes (NunoGomes81)

Paulo does more the CX races since im not much into that camp and I do more the less known races since i really like to get to know less known riders and discover new talents

Our short term goals are to get back to the 1500 followers . And in long term get more notoriety and have some good name on the cycling community.

We also would like to get somewhat of a connection to this area.

We also have a podcast in portugese but we are planning to launch it in english for the next season !

I also would like to thank to the ones who retweeted and shared our page again , specially fellow predictors MaschBasch and Michael Thomas who besides being great predictors also are one of the best peoples in this community!
