Heidi Livingston-Eisips

Heidi Livingston Eisips is an adjunct faculty member in both the Interdisciplinary Engineering and Marketing & Business Analytics departments at SJSU. Ms. Eisips teaches Engineering Communications, Data Analytics, Advanced Statistics, and Marketing. She has worked as a high tech marketing strategist with Fortune 100’s, start-ups, and mid-size companies, across a variety of industries, including enterprise software, mobile, biopharma, ed tech, telecommunications, and more. An experienced lecturer and facilitator, Ms. Eisips’ research focus is on data ethics, algorithmic bias, student success, and exploring the intersection between technology and student voice. Ms. Eisips is currently pursuing her doctorate in higher ed leadership at SJSU.

Vandana Srivastava

Vandana Srivastava is a Researcher, Entrepreneur, and Academician. Currently, she is pursuing PhD(CS) from University of South Carolina. She is also the founder of ViSER, an educational services startup providing STEM and finance education to school students and adults. Vandana is MBA in Financial Management and MS in Computational Mathematics and has 10+ years of work experience in industry/academia in both USA and India. In USA, she worked as VP at Tantiv4 and as Incentive Analyst at IBM. In India, she was CS and Math faculty at different engineering colleges. Vandana is passionate about empowering women and girls from all backgrounds and interests in technology and finance.
