Friday Evening join us for a beautiful evening of worship, inspiring teaching, and joyful fellowship as we gathered together in His presence.

Saturday begins with a morning service of worship, followed by a creative craft session. In the afternoon, we’ll have a peaceful break for prayerful reflection and quiet time with God. The day will conclude with our third session, featuring prayer, worship, and an uplifting sermon.

Sunday morning, we will gather for our final session, filled with prayer, worship, and a sermon that inspires attendees to take what they’ve learned and apply it within their churches and ministries. The retreat will conclude by noon.
The goal of this retreat is to remind each woman that she is indispensable in God’s Kingdom, uniquely created with purpose and calling. Through inspiring teaching and meaningful fellowship, we aim to encourage women to step out in faith, fully believing that God has equipped them to fulfill His work. It is not by our own strength, but by His, that we are empowered to live out His calling in our churches, communities, and beyond.

Meet Dr. Carolyn Johnson, a vibrant force of inspiration residing in San Diego, California with her amazing husband, Jim. Together, they celebrate a beautiful family filled with three accomplished adult children and three energetic grandchildren who light up their lives!
Dr. Carolyn's journey is nothing short of extraordinary. She’s taken her passion for teaching across the globe, sharing her insights at the prestigious European Nazarene Bible College in Switzerland. She’s made a significant impact as an ESL Instructor at Point Loma Nazarene University and served as both a Professor and Center-Mentor at Azusa Pacific University’s School of Education. With a wealth of experience as a Bible teacher and leader, she's also a gifted writer, creating works that inspire and uplift.
Through countless trials—including car accidents, a cancer battle, and Jim’s harrowing experience of being shot in the face—they have emerged stronger, witnessing God’s unwavering faithfulness in their lives. Each challenge has only deepened their resolve and faith.
Fueled by her passion for sharing God’s Word, Dr. Carolyn is the dynamic founder of Firm Foundations Ministries. She has traveled the globe, proclaiming the message of hope and love with fervor. Dr. Carolyn humbly shares, “I continue to be humbled and amazed that God could use me to proclaim His Word.” Her unwavering enthusiasm and dedication to her faith make her journey truly remarkable!
