WickWise — Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms govern your use of the WickWise app ("WickWise," "we," "us"). By downloading or using WickWise, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use WickWise on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/), which is incorporated by reference. Where these Terms conflict with Apple's EULA, the stricter protection applies.
2. Subscriptions (WickWise Pro)
• WickWise Pro is an auto-renewable subscription offering a 7-day free trial, after which the subscription price applies.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID Settings > Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region; we may change pricing for future periods with notice.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, and to use it in compliance with applicable laws.
4. Candle-Making Safety Disclaimer (Important)
WickWise provides calculations, estimates, and general guidance for candle making. Wax, fragrance oils, wicks, and open flames are inherently hazardous. Outputs (including amounts, temperatures, wick suggestions, burn times, costs, and profit estimates) are estimates only and may not suit your specific materials or conditions. You are solely responsible for safe practices, following your suppliers' instructions and safety data, complying with applicable regulations (including labeling and resale requirements), and testing your own candles. WickWise is not a substitute for professional or safety advice.
5. No Warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that calculations are error-free or that the app will be uninterrupted.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fahim Uddin is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any property damage, injury, or business losses, arising from your use of the app or your candle-making activities.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
