Wicket Empire — Privacy Policy

The short version
Wicket Empire has no accounts of its own and does not track you across other apps or websites. Your careers live on your device. The app uses Google services for advertising (Google AdMob), for counting which parts of the game get played (Firebase Analytics), for update notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging), for purchases (Google Play Billing) and, if you use it, for cloud saves and leaderboards (Google Play Games). Each is described below. We never see your name, email, payment details, or anything that identifies you personally.
Data stored on your device
Your careers, your manager or player profile (the name, nationality, age and look you choose in the game), match history, settings, language choice, the things you own and wear, and imported name packs are stored on your device. They leave your device only through Google Play Games cloud saves (below), or if you use the export feature to share a save file yourself. Uninstalling the app deletes the copy on your device.
Purchases (Google Play Billing)
Wicket Empire sells optional cosmetic items through Google Play: things your player wears, card frames and titles, the Supporter pack and the Founder's Pack. Nothing sold changes how a match plays. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play: we never receive your card or payment details. Google Play tells the app what your Google account has bought, so your items come back on a new phone. Firebase Analytics records that a purchase happened (the item and its price), which shows us what players buy; that record carries no payment details.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Wicket Empire shows ads through Google AdMob: optional "watch an ad" rewards you choose to tap, and occasional full-screen ads between seasons, at most two a day and none on the day you install the game. Anyone who has bought anything in the game sees no full-screen ads. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as your advertising ID, IP address, coarse (approximate) location derived from IP, and interactions with the ads themselves. This data goes to Google, not to us.

Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), the app shows a consent form before any ads load, and ads respect your choice. You can reopen that form from the game menu ("Ad Privacy Options"), and you can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
To understand which features are used and where players get stuck, the app sends anonymous gameplay events to Firebase Analytics, a Google service: for example "career created", "match finished", "season completed", "shop opened", "ad reward claimed", and purchases as described above. These events carry no name, email, or free text you enter (the names you type are never sent). Firebase also receives standard device and app information (device model, operating system, app version, country derived from IP, an app-instance identifier and, where available, the advertising ID) so events can be counted per device. Google retains this data for up to 14 months. We use it only to improve the game and to measure our own advertising. You can limit ad-based measurement by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in your device settings.

Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app registers with Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can tell you when an update is out. This uses a device token issued by Google that carries no name or email. The game can also schedule reminders on your phone itself; those never leave your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings.
Google Play Games (optional)
When you are signed in to Google Play Games, the game can keep a copy of your careers in your Google account's Saved Games, so you can restore them on another phone, and can post your scores to Wicket Empire's leaderboards, where your Play Games name and picture may appear. Google handles this under its privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can sign out of Play Games at any time.
Other Google Play features
The game may ask Google Play to show its rating prompt or to offer an update. Both run inside Google Play.
Network access
Apart from the services above, the game runs fully offline. The optional "Import from Link" feature downloads a file only from a link you paste yourself. No gameplay data is transmitted anywhere else.
Children
Wicket Empire is a general-audience cricket game. It contains no chat and no social features, and has no accounts of its own. Advertising is served through Google AdMob under Google's policies, and purchases go through Google Play, with the protections Google Play applies.
Future updates
If a future update ever adds features that involve more data than described here, this policy will be updated before that feature ships.
