Wisconsin Rugby News is expanding this fall with dedicated coverage of Girls High School Rugby for the 2026 season.

The mission remains the same: document the history, recognize the athletes, and celebrate the programs building rugby across Wisconsin.

Beginning this fall, Girls HS coverage will include:

• Team & season previews
• Match and tournament coverage
• Player recognition
• Coach comments and program updates
• State tournament results and final placements
• A permanent historical archive of Wisconsin Girls HS Rugby

Wisconsin Rugby News began primarily as a way to preserve the history of the game—state champions, season results, All-State teams and the accomplishments that deserve to be remembered.

It has grown into much more.

From April 1 through June 1, 2026, Wisconsin Rugby News generated 6,200 views from 2,100 different users, showing there is a real audience for consistent coverage and recognition of Wisconsin high school rugby.

This fall, that coverage gets bigger.

Wisconsin Girls HS Rugby deserves to have its stories told, its players recognized and its history preserved.
