United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) focuses on enhancing its capacity to address the interrelated issues of drug control, crime and international terrorism in all its forms. UNODC is committed to achieving security and justice for all by making the world safer from drugs, crime and terrorism and is structured around 6 objectives:
Strengthening the legislative and judicial capacity
Reducing drug trafficking
Preventing drug use and the spread of related infections
Victim empowerment
Reducing the incidence of domestic violence
Counter trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants

To give advisory opinions on legal matters referred to it by duly authorized United Nations organs and specialized agencies.

The Historical Security Council (HSC) runs by the same rules and structures as the Security Council, albeit one significant difference. It is moved to the past. In the Historical Security Council, delegates relive, influence, and potentially alter the outcome of key historical events. Therefore, delegates represent countries that existed tens of years ago. The Press Corps Committee is designed to represent the group of journalists who generally present the United Nations and other important bodies. At the conferences , delegates of the press corps will report on developments within the General Assembly and crisis committees. They organize and attend press conferences, interview delegates, and write articles to be published during conferences. Instead of debating issues or representing countries, characters, or organizations ,delegates become journalists from the world of news agencies. This committee helps delegates who are interested in the field of journalism to delve into the field and get to experience it with all its complications and beauties.
