Theater is an art form that combines collaboration, engagement, and performance. It is a way for a person to be vulnerable with others to express themselves through script, improvisation, or activities. While some view it as a spectator art form, participating holds lots of benefits such as increasing social-emotional awareness, confidence, and exploring your imagination. By incorporating theatrical activities outside of the classroom, groups can utilize their imaginations to address problems they face in society and put a meaningful voice behind advocacy projects.
