Students at Millennia Institute joined the WYNIST Mass Coastal Cleanup alongside Outward Bound Singapore alumni, Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore Scouts Association and members of the public to clean up the coastal shores of East Coast Park.

Through the event, participants collected a total of 326.7kg of coastal trash. Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment and Manpower, Dr. Koh Poh Koon, graced the event as guest of honour and shared the need to ennact change to protect the environment, especially when issues like marine litter is a transnational issue.
