"What is the WHS Theatre Company?"
The theatre company is an audition-only group of Juniors & Seniors who can participate in our Fall & Spring Production!
"How do I get into the company?"
At the end of your Sophomore/Junior year, prepare 2 contrasting monologues and perform them for Mr. B.
"What does the theatre season look like?"
Our season consists of 3 shows, most often the fall play, winter musical, and spring play. Both plays are for Company members only. This year, our season is Much Ado About Nothing in the Fall, Les Misérables in the Winter, and You Can't Take It With you in the Spring!
"What are musical auditions like"
All auditioning students will participate in a dance call & prepare a cut of a song from the musical for the character of choice. Our choreographer, Eva Stone, and assistant choreographers, Keoni Dilay/Audrey Woodard, lead the dance call. If invited to callbacks, students will prepare more sides/songs from the show.
