What are the hours of the party?

The graduates must arrive at the main entrance of WHS between 11-11:30pm. At 11:30pm the doors are locked and all student will remain our guests until the party ends at 5am when the doors are opened. We have volunteers at the exists to ensure students do not leave or enter while the party is underway. If a graduate needs to leave prior to 5am, we ask that you make arrangements in advance via request to smckenna@windhamsd.org and whslastnightevent@gmail.com. Once a student leaves, they are not permitted back inside the party. Parents are strongly encouraged to make arrangements to have their graduate dropped off/picked up so they are not driving while tired.

What should I expect for the evening?

There will be live entertainment and activities through the night. A variety of food or beverages will also be available. Everyone is eligible to win raffles and prizes. You’ll not want to miss any of the fun, so be sure to arrive for the 11pm check in. (BTW, our description is purposely vague you’re met with loads of surprises!)

What happens if I register but can’t attend?

We ask that you email whslastnightevent@gmail.com to let know of your change in plans. Anyone who doesn’t arrive by 11:30pm will have their emergency contacts listed at your senior check reached out to.

What should I wear to the party?

You can wear what you want! Historically, the grads come in very comfortable clothes, appropriate for physical activities. We encourage you to wear your Last Night t-shirt that you’ll be given, especially as we take several class photos.

Is there anything I should or shouldn’t bring?

If you ordered a yearbook, bring that and a pen; there will be plenty of time to sign yearbooks. Otherwise, just bring yourself! We don’t recommend bringing pillows, blankets, etc. – you’ll grow tired of carrying them to all the activities planned. You’ll be given a cinch sack where you can carry your yearbook and a few person items, so we don’t suggest bringing bags/backpacks. If you do bring your own bag/backpack, it will be checked by administration upon your arrival. No outside food or beverages may be brought into the party, including water bottes. We’ll have plenty of refreshments throughout the night! WHS Last Night is an even free of drugs, alcohol, electronic cigareets and tobacco. If we suspect a graduate is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, we will reach out to your emergency contacts to pick you up.
