Classes Available

Theater Fundamentals 1- Students will learn the basics of theater. They will understand acting, directing, stage movement, voice, script analysis, and some tech elements. 

Theater Fundamentals II- Students will continue to deepen their understanding of theater. They will have a heavier focus on tech theater standards as we delve deeper into production process by both performers and technicians 

Advanced Drama- Students will create in class performances utilizing strong acting techniques. All students will be expected to complete assignments related to acting and production through the course of the performance.

·       The one act competition show will be run through this course. Students who do not receive a role in the one act competition show will hold backstage/technical jobs to support the production process.

·       The School Wide shows will also be supported through this class. Students in the school wide will have one on one coaching while also supporting the production in terms of technical elements.

·       Students involved in this class will also create in-class cabaret style performances that will be used for the Thespys at Thescon, Arts on the Rock, Talent Show Performances, and Senior Capstone projects!
