Mike has been with the program ever since it started in 2002. He has coached the Frosh and JV level. Mike played high school volleyball and club volleyball in college. Mike is a teacher in the San Diego Unified School District, is married to Claire and his daughter is Ashton.

This is Trevor's fifth year as the JV coach and 16th with the program. He started playing volleyball at Westview in the school's second year and has not stopped being a part of the program since. Currently, Trevor is a software engineer.

Coach Ashton was raised in Rancho Peñasquitos and graduated from Westview ('08).  He played volleyball all four years at Westview, including two on varsity, and also played in an intercollegiate club during his undergraduate studies.  He learned from Coach McLaughlin and Amonette. 

He returned to Westview in 2022 to begin coaching and currently serves as the freshman and assistant varsity coach.  

He holds a BA in Psychology from Biola University and an MBA from Point Loma Nazarene University. Coach Ashton lives in Mission Hills with his wife and kids and enjoys giving back to the Westview community that helped shape him.
