We are always looking for enthusiastic students who vouch for their commitment to science. We invite you to study the molecular mechanisms of wound healing and the development of techniques for exosome isolation, gene editing and microscale imaging.
The primary duties of the candidates are to participate in studies with C. elegans and Bombyx mori culture, colony management, and understanding the phenotypes. Familiarity with basic cell and molecular biology techniques, including, fluorescence microscopy, PCR and RT-PCR methods, protein analysis, and cell culture techniques, is important.
The candidate is expected to possess the ability to analyze, organize, interpret, and present data both verbally and in writing. Advanced computer skills are a plus. A degree in biology, biochemistry, biophysics, biomedical engineering, physics, statistics, or related scientific fields is required. Some experience in a laboratory, specifically with molecular biology is desired. Equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
