There are all these general guidelines on how we can heal from this or that.
My answer is - it all depends on the priorities your body may be constantly juggling.
For example, I recently had a really bad fall off the bike. The pain was signaling my body to prioritize to take care of my rib and elbow, even though my leg was badly bruised. To tell you the truth - I did not even feel the pain there. I did hurt my nose too, and I made that a priority to support healing as well because I couldn't even smell anything for a few days as my nose was totally clogged with blood.
This is just an effective personal example to illustrate my point.
