Welcome WCSD family!

My name is Crystal Alvarenga and I am the School Social Worker at MSTA and Jackson. Although we wish to have our campuses filled with staff and students, we are still excited for school to begin with Distance Learning and look forward to building connections with our students. Don't forget that together, we will achieve great things!

As a School Social Worker, I have the privilege working with our students through classroom social-emotional lessons, small group counseling, and individual counseling. I also collaborate with school staff and parents in order to best meet the needs of students. Additionally, I help with the linkage of school, home, and community to support students and families.

This site offers some suggestions and resources to support both students and families. I hope you find these resources helpful.
