Michael Akeem Williams was born in Milledgeville, Georgia, to Johnny Williams and the late Myrtice Williams. He is married to Latanza (Bennett) Williams of Lincolnton, Georgia. They have three daughters, Katelyn (23), Makayla (14), and Kaylee (12). Rev. Williams’ degrees include a Bachelor of Science from Georgia College, a Master’s degree from Troy University, and a Specialist from Georgia College. Currently, he is pursuing his Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
In July 2020, he accepted the call to pastor the White Rock Baptist Church of Lincolnton, Georgia. Over the past five years, Rev. Williams has been a servant-leader in the community and has led this congregation to be impactful by being a light to the world. In addition to his role at White Rock, Rev. Williams is the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Warren County School System and an endorsement instructor with the CSRA RESA.
