What is the White River Partnership, and what is our 'Why'?
* Serve as leadership group for the White River ‘Community of Focus’ that brings agencies & community members together to co-develop community-led actions towards positive impacts towards community-identified health priorities.
* Purpose: Develop priorities, goals, and measurable outcomes to improve the well-being of White River communities. Serve as a working group to accomplish the outcomes.
* Priorities: Access to Resources, Food Justice, Transportation, Youth Activities, Social Connections, Behavioral Health
* Successes: identified community priorities, $150,000 investments, Rural Development Initiatives leadership team & installation of Wilkeson Community Garden, oversee White River Hometowns Fund $78k fund, EBT cooler at Buckley Market, community navigator, increasing resource access, grant for North East Pierce County resource guide website!!

Our monthly meetings take place every 2nd Monday of each month, from 10 - 11:30AM and they are hybrid, meaning there are two ways you can attend:

If you are not available for the monthly meetings, consider joining and working with a subgroup, in which they are typically a small group of individuals that meet together outside of each monthly meeting on a specific project and/r or topic.
