24 Hours/Day 365 Day/Year Crisis Support to Youth, Foster Parents & Staff

Support Team Members

  • The White Rabbit programme is guided by the clinical direction and leadership of our registered Clinical Psychologist. Working closely with White Rabbit since its inception, our Clinical Psychologist provides sound advice and direction for the agency as well as providing psychological and behavioural assessments (as required) for children and youth placed within White Rabbit homes.

  • Executive level of management who provide both clinical and administrative direction and support, working in close collaboration with our Therapeutic Foster Parents, Case Managers, Child and Youth Worker staff and youth placed within White Rabbit foster homes.

  • Our Case Managers, Coverage Workers and Program Assistants are experienced, skilled professionals who work closely with both the children placed in our care as well as our Therapeutic Foster Parents and Child and Youth Worker staff in supporting a child’s overall day-to-day needs as well as crisis management. Our Case Management team and executive level of management strive to ensure each person within White Rabbit, regardless of role or status, feels a sense of safety, security and community.

  • Qualified and professional Child and Youth Worker staff who provide direct care service and support to the Youth and Foster Parents. Opportunities to work with children and youth within the foster homes, on a 1-1 basis and within our Section 23 Day Treatment Program.

  • White Rabbit provides crisis management and support on a 24 hour, 365 day a year basis, recognizing that support and direction can be required day or night. Offered by skilled professionals in the Child and Youth Services field, our on-call crisis management support staff work tirelessly to ensure any foster parents, staff or child placed in our care has access to immediate support and direction as needed.

  • Child Management Assistants provide careful support, mainly in the area of transportation of youth to access visits and .

  • Property and maintenance staff available to assist (as deemed necessary) in light repairs and general upkeep of foster homes, ensuring comfort, security and safety standards are met.

  • Select students pursuing a post-secondary education in the area of Child and Youth Services or another related field further compliment the support system in place while completing their Clinical Field Placements within White Rabbit homes and programs. All students are mentored by and work alongside our experienced Child & Youth Worker staff.

  • Select volunteers from the community provide invaluable assistance to the youth & programme in various areas.

  • All foster parents and staff are further supported in both their professional and personal matters within our Employee Assistance Program, offered by Lifeworks. Foster parents, staff and applicable family members are able to access services related to a variety of life experiences and needs including counselling, legal consultation, financial planning, career development and other matters.
