OVERVIEW

White Noise Studio ("the Extension") respects your privacy.

This policy explains what data the Extension does and does

not collect.

DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

White Noise Studio does not collect, transmit or store any

personally identifiable information. No browsing data, no

audio data, no usage patterns and no personal information

is ever sent to any external server.

HOW THE EXTENSION WORKS

All sounds in White Noise Studio are generated entirely

within your browser using the Web Audio API. No audio

files are downloaded from the internet. No streaming

servers are contacted. The extension works completely

offline once installed.

DATA STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE ONLY

The Extension stores the following data in Chrome local

storage on your device only:

- Your Pro license activation status

- Your currently active sounds and their volume levels

  (so your mix is restored when you reopen the extension)

- Your saved sound mixes / presets (Pro feature)

This data never leaves your device and is never

transmitted to any external server.

LICENSE VERIFICATION

If you purchase White Noise Studio Pro and enter a license

key, the Extension sends that key to Gumroad's API

(api.gumroad.com) solely to verify its validity. No other

data is transmitted. This only occurs when you manually

click the Verify button in Settings.

PERMISSIONS USED

- storage: To save your sound preferences, active mix

  and saved presets locally on your device

White Noise Studio does not request activeTab, scripting,

host permissions or any other permissions. It is a

self-contained popup extension.

AUDIO DATA

The Web Audio API generates all sounds locally inside

your browser tab. No microphone access is requested or

used. No audio is recorded, captured or transmitted

anywhere.

THIRD PARTIES

We do not sell, share or transfer any user data to third

parties under any circumstances.

CHILDREN

White Noise Studio is not directed at children under 13

and does not knowingly collect data from children.
