Whitchurch Whippets - Your Running Club
We meet at Whitchurch Rugby Club, SY13 1EU (see map below), on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7pm. We'd be delighted to see you and talk or suggest a group run
Whitchurch Whippets are a friendly running club serving North Shropshire and South Cheshire. Along with our inclusive chatty social runs, many members also compete in a variety of events ranging from 1 mile to ultras, on all terrains from road races to fell and trail events, as well as triathlons. As a club we organise fun competitive events and training throughout the year, as well as regular socials (mostly around food and drink!).
Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, our club is open and welcoming to everyone. If you can run/walk for 2-3 miles or 20-30 minutes you'll fit right in. We have groups to suit all paces and no-one gets left behind!
If you're a complete beginner, we run a Couch to 5k training programme - look out for details on our website and Facebook page for when these are available.

On club nights all of our running groups are led by UKA qualified Whippets, and the overall coaching team is headed by Fiona Leatham.
We have 14 members who are UKA qualified run leaders, and several with additional qualifications, including off road.

Membership is open to anyone aged 16 or over on the date of joining. Please complete the online membership form.
In due course we may open up to younger age groups but currently we do not have the facilities to make that possible.
