Privacy Policy
In accordance with Article 30 of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」, "Where is my car?" establishes and discloses the following privacy policy to protect the personal information of information subjects and to handle complaints promptly and smoothly.
○ This privacy policy will be applied starting from July 15, 2024.
"Where is my car?" processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」 will be implemented.
To provide services and content.
"Where is my car?" only stores personal information (vehicle number, photos taken, and attached gallery images) entered by users in the app's internal storage and does not share it with third parties or external servers.
Personal information stored in the app’s internal storage can be deleted through the "Reset" feature or by uninstalling the app.
"Where is my car?" processes the following personal information items:
Vehicle number
Vehicle photos (gallery or camera capture)
[Permissions]
[Optional] Camera Access: To take photos of parked vehicles.
[Optional] Notification Access: To use notifications for parking location reminders.
[Optional] Exact Alarm Permission (Alarms and reminders): To create precise alarms at the user-specified time.
The app can be used even if optional permissions are not granted.
To maintain app stability and monitor service usage, "Where is my car?" uses Google Firebase's Crashlytics crash log collection SDK and Analytics SDK. No information identifying individuals is shared. These SDKs are governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Google Analytics Terms of Service.

Personal information can be deleted through the app's "Vehicle Reset" feature or by uninstalling the app.
Information subjects can request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their personal information at any time with "Where is my car?".
Requests under Paragraph 1 can be made to the developer of "Where is my car?" in accordance with Article 41, Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」 via written document, email, or fax, and the developer will respond promptly.
Rights under Paragraph 1 can be exercised through a legal representative or an authorized agent. In this case, a power of attorney following the format specified in Annex 11 of the "Methods of Processing Personal Information (No. 2020-7)" must be submitted.
Requests for access and suspension of processing may be restricted under Articles 35(4) and 37(2) of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」.
Requests for correction and deletion cannot be made for personal information specified as collection targets under other laws.
When responding to requests for access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing, the developer of "Where is my car?" will confirm the identity of the requester or their authorized representative.
"Where is my car?" takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information:
Development and implementation of an internal management plan.
Minimizing and training personnel handling personal information by assigning responsibilities to designated staff.
"Where is my car?" does not use cookies or other automatic data collection devices.
"Where is my car?" does not collect, use, or provide behavioral information for personalized online advertising or other purposes.
"Where is my car?" may additionally use or provide personal information without the information subject's consent under Articles 15(3) and 17(4) of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」 if the following criteria are met:
Whether the additional use/provision is related to the original purpose of collection.
Whether it is predictable based on the context of collection and usual processing practices.
Whether it unfairly infringes on the interests of the information subject.
Whether safety measures, such as pseudonymization or encryption, have been implemented.
"Where is my car?" does not process pseudonymized information.
