In my computer the templates installed by SketchUp are in C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2015\LayOut\templates. When I save a LayOut file as a template it goes to C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2015\LayOut\Templates.

You use templating to access attributes for creating entities or automations. You use the dev tools templating to figure out how to access the attribute you want, and implement that in your entity or automation creation.

Hey Javier, I think what you initially tried to achieve was to create a file where to store your sensors configuration in a file called templates.yaml rather than have everything in the configuration.yaml.

Hi guys

Where is user templates folder on my drive? I am a Mac user.

I can find the templates folder in the steinberg application but the user ones do not appear to be stored in the same place.

Actually why i am on this subject where does cubase store any presets i create?

As of October 10, 2023, Microsoft rolled out a new update to New Outlook and Web versions. The new update fixed the disappearing act of My Templates Icon and entries for most users. The My Templates icon appears in two tab areas when composing an email: Message and Options tabs.

PS: I searched through many reliable resources, but unfortunately, I couldn't find any solution. However, I came across numerous users who reported issues with My Templates. If you find this information helpful, you can bookmark this thread. I will continue to keep an eye out for any updates or solutions related to this issue. Additionally, if you do happen to find a solution, please do share it.

@Teresa_Cyrus - This is not helpful. Several users are reporting that their templates are gone and nowhere to be found in Outlook on the Web (O365, not outlook.com). They are enabled and published in the Admin Managed Add-ins. Just not showing for users in their personal mailboxes nor in the shared mailboxes. Please advise.

@Teresa_Cyrus Why do you say this is a "known issue"? A "known issue" will normally have an active Service Health advisory, or, some sort of bug report. Are you going by what a Microsoft engineer told you for an open case? I've experienced multiple issues with "My Templates" in an enterprirse environment over the last year and had to open cases for each one. They only properly acknolwedged & fixed one issue - and that was with My Templates no longer being accessible in Shared Mailboxes. They JUST got that fix rolled out (see EX682081). Every other case either "magically" fixed itself eventually, or, in the case of the add-in being availble & the saved templates disappearing - the users were just out of luck & had to recreate them all from scratch. Additionally, for my users having issues with My Templates today - they're accessible just fine through the Outlook desktop app - but not Outlook on the web. Its an admin managed add-in, so there isn't anything we administrators can really do. Its always a Microsoft issue that they need to identify & fix.

@Joshua65 Yep - they continue to have issues with My Templates. The Shared Mailbox issue what "was" fixed is still broken to an extent. In some cases - the My Templates button isn't available to use, but shows up under Add-ins as already installed, or, not installed but when clicking "Add" you get ErrorAccessDenied. In other instances, users ARE getting My Templates to show up in their Shared Mailbox, but, the problem is - they're only seeing their own mailbox templates & not the templates that should be specific to the Shared Mailbox. Its a mess.

A potential "workaround" for some of us Outlook on the Web users for the time being, which by no means is ideal (in my opinion) and may not work well for your situation, but may work depending on your case:

You can add your shared mailbox to your primary mailbox (which should, as of posting, still allow you to access the MyTemplates add-in). See here for instructions: -us/office/open-and-use-a-shared-mailbox-in-outlook-on-the-web-98b5a...

Each time you reply to an email, you must change the From address (to the shared email), and you'll have to add the signature, if you use a different signature for replies from your shared mailbox. Otherwise, the reply will be from your own email with your own signature, not that of the shared mailbox

Replies to emails sent from the shared address in your primary mailbox will show up in the shared mailbox as new emails. Replies to all emails in the shared mailbox will be shown as separate emails when viewed from your primary mailbox, not nested under the original email of which the reply was for

If those considerations still make this "workaround" worth it to you, then once you have added the shared mailbox into your primary mailbox, on the left sidebar open whichever folder under the shared mailbox emails you need to reply to will be stored (usually the inbox).

Change the From address to the shared email. The first time, you may have to manually add it ... click the From field and Change address, then type and select the shared email address. If the From field does not show, go to your options and select Show from.

Open the MyTempltes add-in and, as you would have in the past, select the template you wish to fill into the email. You may first have to add all the templates into the add-in. You may first need to go into the Get Add-ins icon and select/add the MyTemplates add-in to your primary mailbox.

Hopefully, this may serve useful for some of you who have simple situations with your shared mailboxes and don't need your replies to be visible to or stored in the shared mailbox itself. BUT BETTER YET, LETS HOPE MICROSOFT FIXES MYTEMPLATES IN SHARED MAILBOXES FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!

@Teresa_Cyrus OK, I guess I am lost... I am trying the help, and other searches... all I want to do is create some templates, and be able to select from them to use in emails... I remember when Office was usable.. is there any help available? I can't find it anywhere.

I haven't been able to access templates on outlook.office.com for some time, so I use signatures instead. The signatures editor is much better than templates, and I think you can insert more than 32k? I have inserted large photos into signatures (used as templates) and it doesn't object to the size of the template, but that might be because it only stores a link to the photo, maybe.

If they do re-introduce templates, I hope it has an editor as good as the signature editor.

Good call Paul! I didn't use Templates a ton, but did use them for repetitive tasks, such as password resets and such. The signatures trick accomplishes practically the same thing, so thank you for sharing that.

Where the heck can I find them? I know you can open a template by clicking it and add it to the collection. But I want to make sure if they change the application at a later point in time I still can grab them to be on the safe side. But right now, I just would like to know where they actually go.

The templates inside the application are out of bounds. They, as well as custom user templates, are all presented in the default Template Chooser that appears when Pages is launched. The current templates that you are referring to are in:

When the very first installation of Pages v5 thru v10.3.9 is installed, its first task is to migrate compatible custom user templates from the old Pages '09 template location. Not all are migrated due to unique Pages '09 features in them from this location:

Anyone performing regular time machine backups has their custom templates already backed up, and there really is no need for a user to manually visit their templates folder location. One can rename or delete user templates from within Pages.

This article describes the different types and locations of templates in 2007 Microsoft Office programs and in 2010 Office programs. Additionally, this article contains information about registry settings that control where you find custom templates.

2007 Office programs and 2010 Office programs save all new custom templates that you create. A Microsoft Office program looks in one of the following locations for the templates that belong to that program:

Newly created or newly modified templates are saved in a folder in your profile directory. The folders that are under your profile contain your configuration preferences and options. These folders contain everything that is needed for a roaming user profile.

If you use Word 2007 or Word 2010 to change the location in which your new templates are saved, you also change the location in which all 2007 Office program templates or all 2010 Office program templates are saved.

The changed path is noted in the Windows registry. The path is used the next time that you want to save a new template. For more information, see the "Changes in the Windows registry settings for the user templates file location and for the workgroup templates file location" section.

Your network administrator can change the location in which your new templates are saved by using the policy templates that are included with the 2007 Microsoft Office Resource Kit. For more information, contact your network administrator.

You can also create custom tabs that appear in the Templates dialog box by creating a new folder in the Templates folder in your profile. Tabs that have the same name as a new folder appear in the Templates dialog box. These tabs let you categorize your new templates even more. 152ee80cbc
