Everywhere I look, I can only see the current iOS/Android Diner Dash version, which I find ugly. It's not the same thing, it has that same pay-to-win mechanics so many mobile games have now. I want to play those original, classic Diner Dash games. Diner Dash is a flash-based puzzle game where you play Flo, a restaurant owner. In order to succeed in business, she must keep her diner running smoothly by seating guests and serving them well. There are several different types of customers, and each poses their own challenge. The default customer is a white woman who eats and loses patience at an average rate. All of the other customers can basically be measured against them. Other types include Senior Citizens (old white men) who are very patient but eat slow and hold everything up, Bookworms, who are just like the seniors but are less tolerant of noise around them, Families with crying babies, and impatient, fast-eating Businessmen (who, after Diner Dash 1, start yakking away on cell phones and pissing off everyone around them). When playing the first game I found it slightly funny and slightly annoying that the worst customers to deal with were the ABWs. But then in DD 2 they gave the Businessmen cell phones, making them even worse than the ABWs. Yes, they are impatient and eat really fast, throwing off my timing (even more than the women) but since they talk on cell phones, they can disturb the other diners, resulting in a lot of hassle in seating them. My roommate plays some game called animal crossing where you have to talk to bitchy animals, and do chores for them and write them letters and arrange your furniture in your game house. All of these things would stress me out in real life. I understand games that cause anxiety but you also get to fly of steal things or run people over or blow stuff up as its kind of cathartic, but these games that are kind of sort of like real life are weird.

Flo is a hard worker at a big stock market company in Dinertown. She's tired of doing all the work and feeling unfulfilled. Flo quits her job, wishing she could work someplace else. She spots a run-down old diner, which she buys. She has to make enough money to fix up the diner. Later after earning more finance, she opens a new restaurant called Flo's Tiki Palace, after earning enough there she then opens a seaside diner called Go with the Flo Fine Seafood Dining, when finished at the seaside diner she opens a dazzling newer restaurant called Chez Flo's.

After establishing many restaurants, an Indian goddess grants Flo a brand-new form and allows her to work at an Indian restaurant located above Dinertown. After proving her worth, Flo went out in her own separate way and is ready to help another hard worker at the company establish his own diner, repeating the cycle.

Gameplay centers around catering to customers to gather as much money as possible. Flo can be moved around the restaurant to complete tasks. As customers arrive in the restaurant, the player must drag and drop them onto a table,[5] where they sit down and read menus. Then the player must guide Flo to the table to take their order, which must be taken to the service hatch. After the chef has prepared the meal, Flo must deliver the food. When the customers are finished eating, they must be taken a check, at which point the customers leave a tip and their dishes on the table, departing the restaurant. The dishes must be cleared by Flo before the next set of customers can use the table. Each successful action earns the player points, performing the same action multiple times in a row earns the player a chain bonus, which is broken once a different action is performed.[6]

You are a woman named Flo, (no not that Flo who sells insurance) but instead, you work at a stock market company located in Dinertown. Flo has had it with the stock market and feels burned out on that career. She quits her job and spots an old diner that is falling apart. Flo decides to buy it and magically has enough money to fix it up too. She must have done very well in the stock market.

Flo begins to become very successful in running her diner and opens up new restaurants and locations. (The beauty of capitalism!) She becomes so successful that she opens up a restaurant in a dark forest and it becomes a big hit. This is where Diner Dash gets wild and takes a turn I never saw coming. I had to confirm this with my wife because I thought it was some prank after reading the plot. (My wife is the one who played the game) Anyway, this is all true!

After the success of all her openings, Flo is transported to the clouds where she meets a SHIVA GODDESS! What the heck is going on?! The Shiva Goddess has her own restaurant and challenges Flo to 10 Indian trials inside. To help Flo, the Goddess gives her two extra arms! Flo completes the trials and the Goddess congratulates her and flies away. After coming back from the clouds, Flo sees a young man burned out from the Stock Market and offers to make him a waiter. What a wild turn of events! I never thought that Diner Dash would have any type of plot but here we are with career burnout, launching restaurants, and satisfying a Shiva Goddess!

These were the only settings I could get to have any effect. I read

elsewhere on the list that Compensate Flip Emulation could have an

impact, but that setting didn't seem to do anything in any scenario. The

closest I can get it to working is the default setting which technically

functions, but I can tell the game is not intended to be running this

slowly.
