The whereabouts of the treasure intrigue and inspire
By all accounts, this is the crux of my problem here on this mysterious landmass surrounded by water. At least I assume it is surrounded by water. I have no way to know for sure. Keep that in mind. We never know anything for sure. You might just be a brain in a jar. Ever think about that? Yeah, wild, right?
As I do not recall going on any extended space missions, or teleporting somewhere, I have to assume that the treasure is somewhere on the planet Earth. This is a solid lead!
Yes, dear reader, even I have stood in the shadow of the giant wheel. We all have at one point or another. It's a sight to behold. It's so giant and we are so small. 5 dollars is all it takes to board the outer mechanations of the wheel, which travel around its edges. On your first trip around, you start to understand. On your second trip, you can feel the fingers of the wheel feathering across your back. On your third trip, you fear you know too much. The giant wheel will surely not let you leave with this information alive. On your fourth trip you understand, and are ready. You accept the things you cannot change, and you accept the love of the giant wheel. By your fifth trip, you cling to the mother wheel. The world outside her bars and lights is one you are not meant for anymore. You cry to her, beg her to keep you here forever.
The giant wheel obliges, and indeed, a piece of you never leaves the giant wheel.
As you exit the wheel, you feel something in your pocket. Is that? Could it be? 5 dollars. You turn around, confused. The giant wheel stands tall, and you leave, a changed being.
Our secrets mingle together. Giant wheel and us.
These two think they're so fetch, swaying in the breeze day after day. Don't think I don't know what they did. Those smug frondy bastards. Not everyone can afford Invisalign! Stop making fun of my less-than-perfect molars.
Let me tell you, these two may think they have it all under control, but they are nowhere near ready for the winter. All year I've been harvesting tiny seeds to last me through the colder months. But these chuckle chumps? All they do is play the fiddle or whatever. They'll be sorry when the first frost descends upon us.
Butter a 9x9 inch pan and set aside.
In a heavy 2 quart saucepan, combine the syrup, sugar and vinegar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves. ...
Remove from heat and quickly stir in the baking soda.
Immediately pour candy into prepared pan, Do not spread.
I have done some thinking about what I am going to do with the treasure once I locate it and bring it home. Obviously, people are going to want the treasure. Who can blame them? But it's a common misconception that a wall is the best thing to keep them out. When people are faced with a wall standing in the way of the cherished treasure, they will simply knock down the wall. How can this be avoided? Simple. Don't build a wall at all. Your treasure should have a roundabout open road leading to it. People trying to get it will follow these roads. To keep them at bay, what you need to do is build towers.
Towers are the key to all of this. Your towers will fire on these intruders, ensuring your treasure remains safe. The long winding road these intruders will take to reach the treasure will give your towers ample opportunity to wipe the floor with them.
Towers tend to come in different "flavors". On average you've got your earth tower, your ice tower, fire tower, and composite tower. The key to keeping your treasure safe is getting a healthy number of each of these towers, and placing them in complimentary positions.
Earth towers tend to do massive damage, but they're slow and have trouble hitting people that try and fly over the walls. A must-have for large groups of mooks out to swipe your treasure.
Ice towers are bad at doing damage, but they have the handy bonus of slowing people down so that your other towers can make quick work of them. Definitely make sure you have enough of these to cover your important choke points.
Fire towers hit fast and inflict lasting damage. Even when would-be treasure stealers get out of range of these towers, the lingering flames make sure they still feel the burn.
Composite towers are all-around okay at hitting most everything. However, they are either very inexpensive and weak or overpriced and upsettingly powerful. Make sure you know what kind of composite towers you're getting into when you buy them.
